We certainly showed some BOUNCEBACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABACKABILITY.
From 1-0 down, to 2-1 up, to 4-2 down, to 4-4 and then looking like we were going to seal a winner at the death.
South West Rangers will be there in the mix for the title at the end of the season and we pushed them all the way and I couldn’t really have asked for more in the performance from 1-15. We have absolutely nothing to fear this season if we put that shift in every week and I’m excited to see where that takes us.
0-1 A ball is worked out to their mercurial left winger and hattrick hero about 40 yards from goal. He mis-controls it and that gives him the space away from Carswell who closes him down but sees him get it out his feet, advance on goal and drive it across Pybus and into the net from outside the box.
1-1 A ball from just over halfway sets Seb away. He jinks into the box and drives past their right centre back who drags him down like a security guard stopping Kerry Katona sprinting out of Iceland without paying for her shopping. Danny Cain cool slots home the pen.
2-1 We push forward straight from the second half and catch them cold early doors. The ball is worked into the box and Shaun lashes the ball home from just outside the 6 yard box for a well deserved lead.
2-2 A quick throw in is taken into a crowded box and somehow a SWR player, with his back towards goal, allows the ball across his chest before turning to hook it into the far corner of the net for a quality equaliser.
2-3 A ball into the box and Pybus struggles to gather it by his post. The balls spills out to a SWR player who hooks it back into the box and their left winger is there to head it into the top corner.
2-4 Some fine interplay slices us apart through the middle before the ball is cut back to that left winger again who strokes it home from the edge of the box. Another quality finish.
3-4 We grab bag the initiative from a great free kick into the box from Shaf which Tim Louis plants into the net after leaping like a prize salmon.
4-4 Seb is set free down the left hand side. He cuts in on his right and side foots the ball high over the keeper and into the top corner. A sublime finish.
At 4-4 with seconds to go, Shaf and Seb work a fine opening and Seb is through on goal but the keeper rushes out to take it off his toes before he can poke it into the net.
MOM. Shaf took MOM for his excellent set pieces, driving runs and defensive work when he needed to. Full credit once again to everyone else for a stellar performance.
Sunday 11th October Fixture
We take a break from League action for the London Cup. This is essentially the FA Cup for London Sunday League. We are playing South London Panthers of the Metropolitan League.

I have absolutely no idea what they are like but they are probably looking at our league position thinking we are ballerz and are ready for a giant killing. Let’s make sure we’re up for it.
