Somewhere in a parallel universe, we’re still playing Streatham Stanley and a week later the score is still 0-0. The ref has turned down 347 clear cut penalties and counting.
We huffed and puffed on a tight bobbly pitch but didn’t create many clear cut chances and threaten the goal too much.
Shaun had a blatant push in the back for a pen turned down midway through the 2nd half and then right at the death, the Ref bottled a decision to give a penalty for a blatant hand ball as the ball fizzed towards the goal.
We get off the mark with a draw but considering the decisions that went our way, it should’ve been more.
MOM. Shaun for an all action display all over the field showing a great desire to wn.
