Now here’s a brief match report of our last game against London Rhinos
Rovers 2 – 2 London Rhinos
We came out of this game with a point when it could have perhaps should’ve been 3. We created a hat full of chances and were pegged back with a 2 goals which came from us either losing possession too cheaply or not clearing our lines properly.
At 1-0 up they equalised when a midfield runner wasn’t tracked from the halfway line following us losing possession on. With us at 2-1 up they then equalised again after the ball ping ponging around the box without us being able to clear it.
In saying that, we did play well considering we started with a players out of position (Bunny at Centre Back) and a few players making their debut. A lad making his debut at right mid got the goal to put us 2-1 ahead after he neatly rounded the keeper, whilst too many Sherries at Christmas has prevented me from remembering how we scored the first goal.
All told I was disappointed not to take all 3 points but it does keep the unbeaten run going and we’re moving the right way up the table.
